Welcome aboard, Buckeye. Nothing better than getting out to scout. Check your spring hunting areas first, they may hold birds this fall. If the insects are still out during the season, you may find birds in the hayfields. Harvested corn and bean fields adjacent to wood lots are a solid spots. Don't forget woodlots with oak trees. Identify roosting spots. Roosts may be different than in the spring.
Practice your kee-kees and lower pitched gobbler yelps. Gobs may come in silently looking for you -be still and alert.
