EMSDJ2, we call that northern Illinois down here. I consider I72 to I64 to be central. It's funny how we do that tho, disect the state into different areas by where we live. Most people think if you live in Illinois you are from Chicago.
There's far more to this state than the big city.
Do you hunt in your county or do you go elsewhere?

Myself and 5 other guys go to Shawnee Forest at BayCity and deer hunt down there once a season.  Met an older guy down there that used to live up here and actually raced stock cars in my home town so he invited my whole group to bowhunt for deer and turkey on his private ground.  Other than that I have my own timber next to the Vermillion river 11 miles from my house.  How about you?

All my best this spring.

I've got ground in shelby county that I bowhunt on and usually try and get a late season turkey tag. But I hunt turkey down around Waltonville near Rend lake also.
