Decoys in the fall?

Decoys in the fall; do you use them or not? What kind do you use for Jake and Tom winter flocks, mixed groups, and hen groups?

I use decoys all the time when bowhunting in the fall but not when gun hunting.Gun hunts are a change of pace for me in the fall.If your in jake/longbeard flocks call and decoy accordingly.Likewise for hens.

i've been fall hunting for ALOT of years, can only think of 1 instance of using a decoy in fall [ 2 years ago ], early in the season, had bow hunted for deer in the a.m. and knew turkeys were broken up on posted land adjacent to field i was hunting, came back in p.m. and put decoy in field and called one across field from posted woods, haven't used one before [ that i can remember ] or since, mainly because of safety concerns, since either sex are legal in fall in va.
