Yes Mark I am too ready for October 1st to arrive. I am have been waiting since the middle of May. I could also use a break from the heat and humidity.October will be here soon enough, It may just be me but the older I get it sure seams like the month and the years aren't nearly as long as they used to be.

Man y'all are lucky. No fall turkey hunting for us Georgia boys. I'm getting geared up for deer season, but I'd much rather be chasing some birds this fall. Good luck to all of y'all.

I'm with JW, no fall turkeys in SC either. Deer season opens Aug 15th tho...yea Aug 15th, in SC 95 degrees or so, and killing deer!!!

ive been trying to get pumped up for archery season but man i cant wait to try fall birds

I can understand that . I have however stopped bowhunting deer and will be totally focused on the game of tricking an old longbeard and using the 410 to put him down. In the early fall I'll do some squirrel hunting with the 22 and scout for turkey , coyotes and 'coons . The 3 of them should more than keep me busy before the turkey season expires and the deer gun deason opens .

what im going to do is hunt fall turkey in ny til the first week of november focus on deer til the 14th of november in pa then hunt the last week of pa turkey
