40 DAYS 'n' 40 NIGHTS

Hard to believe tomorrow is the 1st of sept.already. Squirrel season opens too.Now I have a legitimate reason to scout ,,,uh ,,,I mean go to the woods. This morning it was in the upper 40's.
Out in that grey light of dawn made me want to stretch 'n' flap like a jake .

Fall has been in the air the last few mornings. Just one more month to NY's opener.

My new calls are getting me itchin' to drop me a large upland bird!

I'm seeing turkeys all over so it should be an exciting fall. Saw 3 hens and 15 poults this weekend.

WOW we start September 12th already !
first attempt at fall birds, I gave up all fall hunting no place good to go...

I'll leave the squirrels to you Mark, but some doves are in for a very bad day tomorrow. I'm figuring on killing about 60 this week.

My first chance at a fall turkey will be October 1st in Ky. with a crossbow.

44 degrees here this morning and i think we are in for an early fall can't wait to get the work week  over and head into the woods for squirrels myself[:)] good hunting to the rest of you [:D] wayne
