In need of advice.......

Hey everyone!

I need some help. I'm headed to my honey hole on Sunday in pursuit of the majestic wild turkey!
Only problem is, I'm armed with my bow, not my shotgun[:@].
Being at a disadvantage, I'm looking for help with setup. My plan is to borrow a small stool from my father-in-law, along with his half blind.
I know I will have plenty of room to draw my bow back, and I can sneak into the field very early.
Beyond this, I'm not sure. This is my first serious attempt for fall birds. I can set up so I'm nearly invisible. My problem becomes the drawing back with the bow.
I want this challange! I don't want the blind. I want to kill this bird without that aid.
Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Stay away from the field. Find the biggest tree to get behind ,,,and hopefully there will be plenty more big trees for the bird to walk behind , giving you the time to draw . I know the excitement would be paramount , but if you can make a cluck as the bird walks behind the tree, it might just stop for a second or two to stretch its neck , giving you an added second for anchoring.

I agree with Mark. If there isn't a big tree close by at least get off the field edge and back in some brush or a blow down.

The field that I am gonna hunt has a finger of trees I can get right into that will aford me ample cover. The other option is the bottom edge of field, but that means covering the entire field that is ringed with roost trees.
I think this is my best option. The bottom would work, except I can have birds come in silent from behind me.
I'm pumped! This is my first time trying fall turkey with any enthusiasm!
