heres a pic of my two brass bitches....one is african blackwood with sapwood V in it the other is the colco bola ..i put gun blue on(coco bola)  the brass to tarnish it....the wing bone is set in buffalo horn  and are rio hen bones  i killed in kansas with the dogs...they sound awesome  i can get a flock of turkeys out them sound wise...ron

There are people that can pick around on a guitar and carry enough tune to accomodate a song. There are some like  Roy Clark who can make a guitar talk.
There are no doubt many among turkey hunters that can pick enough turkey out of a given call to fool many birds . What I heard Ron do on those trumpets puts him in the Roy Clark class of ''TRUMPET RUNNERS''.

ah thanks mark...ive been playing the trumpet...since the early 90s.....i practiced &  practiced everyday of the summer and in the fall season i called in my first fall long bird...no dogs just me...ive been hooked since i still practice...i do allot of it because i guess like ole roy...i love to make it talk and sing...im here for anyone whos serious about learning suction yelpers...theres alot of exercises i do that will help ...the key is to relax...and went hunting  have confidence in its power to call turkeys....[:)]
