   tn54 in some states they have qouta hunts in the fall and they allow hunters  after the draw to get the left overs ...they can have up to 45 tags!!!! so if they were good hunters they could kill as ..if not more turkey than in the old photo ...i know a couple guys that get that many but their lucky if they fill an 1/8 of that     .......[:)]

My older brother was a "Huntin-Fool". He had a Britt to hunt pheasants and when NY reintroduced Turks in the late 70's they had a ball. Of course they didn't know anything about hunting turkeys but managed to kill a few in the early 80's. The reason I mentioned NY was he had a "JUG" like in the pic....that probably was what killed him. He lived on the NY/Pa. line.

i really love britts...they are great hunters......yeah i noticed the jug...them ol boys had some celebrating to do that day.......[:)]

hey all wont be able to play today.....going to do a seminar on fall hunting with dogs....for the new york sportsmans museum....i was asked by a friend , and iam looking forward to it .....taking the dogs too...talk to all soon ...tdh
