Postby thumper » April 26th, 2010, 11:01 am

Thankyou Ben for adding california to the forum.
California is a great place to hunt turkeys. I hunt mostly in southern california public land which makes it tough on me but I hear turkeys every time, I just killed my first turkey ever near my uncles house in Martinez up by Oakland in awesome oak and meadow country.I hope more california hunters use this forum. I would like to learn about some of the northern public land spot! = hear Cache creek wilderness area is worth a look? anyway thanks again Ben I will do my part to make the cali forum a good one.

Hunted Oroville Wildlife Area on Saturday April 24th and finished up my season with a nice, 17lbs., 9 3/4" beard and 1 3/8" spurs.
God Bless
