1 lb breast sliced in thin strips (slice while partially frozen)
1/2 green bell pepper in thin strips
1/2 red bell pepper in thin strips
1 medium onion in thin strips
4 cloves of garlic minced
2 cans low sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup of Kikkoman soy sauce or less/more if desired
1 tbls. red pepper flakes
2 tbls. brown sugar
1 small can each of sliced water chestnuts and bamboo shoots
1-14 oz. can of bean sprouts
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Stir fry or brown turkey in several batches in a wok or large skillet. Return meat to skillet and add balance of ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Add water if needed. Thicken with a corn starch slurry ( 3 tbls. corn starch and 3 tbls. cold water). Use more if needed for desired consistency.
Serve over cooked rice or egg noodles.
