thanks for posting this, i really do want to put a scope on my 1187, still leary of battery failure tho, but w/ this warning system, i may know what i want for christmas, there's a trijicon thats a similar design w/out the battery, but i think its 750 bucks, way to steep for this ole boy....thanks again
