how many use guns that are not camo? how much difference do you think it makes?

I hunt with a plain stock and somewhat dull finished browned barrels. When you are in the shade I doubt it makes any difference. When you are walking in the sun is where it would be more visible because of reflections, expecially at a distance. When you are facing a turkey there is very little surface exposed. For what some of the comercial dip jobs cost it would seem to make sense to trade/sell and buy new.
Steve, I love "smoked" turkey

try using MossyOak Graphics. For about $30 you can get anybrand of there camo and it adheres really well to you gun, can even be removed. I got this more my 870 and love it.

Sell it and just get one already in camo. Or just buy a new one :)

I hunt with mainly camo guns, but I hunt a good bit with a beretta 390 20 gauge that is black and have not had a bird spook. Strange , I thought the black gun would be an issue but I have harvested allot of birds with the gun with out being seen.
