1100 vs. 1187

Have a friend that has an 1110 Rem that is involved in trap shooting. Out of curiousity, what is the difference between an 1100 vs. 1187.

From what I know about them is that the 1100 is chambered for 2.75 and 3", and the 1187 is 2.75", 3", and 3.5". The 1100 have a better wood, more figured on them, and is a blued gun, The 1187 come in synthetic or wood and have a matt finish. Between the two I like the 1100 a bit better, it has a better feel and looks to the gun.
