T/C .410 pistol ammo?

Not turkey hunting related but I thought some of the members might know the answer. I am thinking of buying a 45 Long Colt/.410 barrel for my Contender. Does anyone know if it will shoot 3" .410 shells or is it limited to 2 1/2" shells? Thanks.
