Sights

I currently have fiber optic rifle sights on my Mossberg 835 but have been thinking about puttin some optics on it.  I do not like the sights that came with the gun so if I do not get a scope of some sort I will change the fiber optic rifle sights to Tru-Glo.  If I go with a scope I'm not sure if I want a standard shotgun scope with a duplex or diamond plex type cross hair or if I want a red dot scope.  For those of you who have optics on your turkey guns, what do you shoot and what are the advantages/disadvantes of each type????
