Anybody tried these shells?

I got a box of Federal Strut Shok magnum turkey loads from my brother as a gift.  They are 3 inch 1&7/8 oz. of #6 shot with 4 dram eq of powder. They are listed at 1210 FPS muzzle velocity.
There is buffer in the shot, but it is not plated.
 
I think he bought them because he saw a Gobbler on the outside of the box and knew it was what I hunted for.
 
Anybody shot these?  How did they perform? Just curious.
 
I may keep them for an "in case of emergency" shell or burn them up at the range.
