I've seen a few cheap red dots go to heck after a few rounds from a turkey gun. I'd throw it in a fire and stick with the beads or sights that came on the gun. If you have to have a red dot go with a higher end model. Going cheap might result in a bird getting lost because it wasn't hitting where it should have.
Theres young school and theres old school.
I'm still in school.
