Marlin 120 Magnum 12 ga question

Hi all! new here, I just recently obtained this gun, w/full choke and am wondering in this gun would make a good turkey gun, all comments on this gun are appreciated!

Welcome to the flock Sodcat. I see no reason why it wouldn't be a good turkey gun. You just need to shoot it at paper and a few different ranges and see at what distance your pattern falls off enough to determine your maximum shot range. Keep all of your shot inside that + a margin of error on your distance estimate and your good to go.

Thanks Ozarks, I'm pretty curious about this gun, it has not been shot in over 30 years so I am taking it to the local gunsmith for a good cleaning and check up, thanks again and I will follow ur advice!
