Length of pull

Recently bought a Supernova.  Shoots great but the lenght of pull is a bit too long, particularly when seated.  Benelli sells replacement recoil pads that have different thickness, but they go for about 90-100 dollars.  My question is:  After taking off the Benelli recoil pad (which is quite thick) and replacing it with a thin aftermarket slip on pad, would this sufficiently reduce the length of pull.  Anyone know of any thin  aftermarket recoil pads that are decent.  Recoil isn't too much of a concern.

Hey Ken,

You can easily pull that pad and use the Shooter's Friend Recoil Pad which is only .25" thick so you'd be reducing the overall LOP quite a bit. It has a much larger footprint than the factory pad so recoil would not be a problem. http://allaboutshooting.com/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=59
