Strangler Chokes

Postby allaboutshooting » July 9th, 2009, 6:10 pm

I have been testing a 12 gauge Strangler Choke with a variety of lead and HTL turkey loads for the last 3 weeks.

I'm in the process of completing an article on those tests and expect to have it completed in the next few days.

I'll post a link as soon as it's published and available on the Internet.

Hopefully, you'll find it interesting and informative.

Thanks,
Clark

Hi Clark
That is a very interesting and conclusive article thanks for shareing that information.
It looks like the winchester HTL held togrther in the 20" circle better than the other brands.

Hey Mark & Jon,

Thank you for the kind words. It was an interesting study! If I'd predicted the results, I'd have been very wrong about most of them. That's one reason I try to never have any preconceptions about products. It's very easy to be proven incorrect.

Thanks,
Clark

Hey Dylan,

It was an interesting product test. I will test the 20 gauge Strangler Choke with some different shells over the next few weeks to see how it does and compares with others on the market. I'll post those results as well.

Thanks,
Clark
