winchester 1300 LB #6's

Postby eddie234 » June 9th, 2014, 1:42 pm

I was finally able to find some londbeards, went to the range and tested them in my Winchester 1300. Longbeards 3" #6's, 21" barrel with a comp-n-choke .655. I've spent a lot of $$$ and time trying different chokes and shell's, seems I always come back to my original setup. I loved the original Winchester xentened range shell's, but these longbeards are pretty outstanding. 228 in a 10" at 40 yards, the 20 yard was super tight and the 30 was kinda tight as well.

Is that small circle 3 inches in dia?

If it is it looks like you killing pattern at 20 yrds is about 6 inches and 8 inches at 30 yrds. Is that about right?
As far as this turkey thing......I know enough...to know enough...that I don't know enough

3" might be about right. It was an old styrofoam cup I found at the range and traced around it just for something to aim at.
