hi, i am using 20 ga. 2 3/4 in. #6 shot federals. my question is sould i get at least 3" shells or even 3" #5's. thanks, Daniel

Hey Daniel,

If your gun will chamber 3" shells, they will give you a higher payload. I would not recommend that you change shot size. The #6 shot will do everything that you need at any reasonalble range, up to 40 yards, and that size shot just flows better than the larger sizes.
