Hevi 13 Pattern

Mossberg 835 Tactical Turkey; 20 inch barrel; Hevishot choke; Hevi 13 3 1/2 inch number 7. 298 pellets inside 10 inches at 40 yards.

Looks sweet to me!!! Were you aiming at the red dot and flinch when you shot?? ;)

LOL! Yeah I pulled the shot. Not enough that the turkey would have survived though.

So with that number of hits what is your maximum range for a turkey this spring? 45, 50, 55 yards or more?

The pattern density would surely be there to 50 yards. But how lethal these Hevi-13 7's would be at 50 is what I wonder about. I killed one stone dead at 40 yards last season with them. That's the distance I try to get them to.
