Scope sight in

I have a scope on my turkey gun 2 1/2 fixed x 32 with a diamond recticel.
At what yardage would you sight in and why.

Good question John! Does a pellet pattern have a trajectory, or drop significantly from 10 yards out to forty yards? Will the spread of the pattern compensate for any drop out at long range?

That will be determed by how far you want to shoot and what your shooting? Most sight in at 40yds with a 10" circle, even though most birds are shot 30yds or less. Many people spend a lot of time and money to get the best pattern they can get out of their guns, trying different chokes and shells to get that.
