Sight Issue

I just bought a Mossberg 835 Turkey Gun. When I tried to pattern it I ran out of adjustment while shooting 6" high @ 40 yards. I removed the factory sights and put on a TruGlo Gobble Dot front and rear. My question is this, since the TruGlo is not adjustable, would I be better off with the red front only or with the unadjustable set? I will also be using the gun for waterfowl and small game. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Let the back sight off if you are going to use it for waterfowl and small game but be sure the gun shoots true using the front bead only.
Sometimes depending on the height of the front bead it can cause the gun to shoot low.

^I, too, would leave the rear sight off if you plan on shooting any type of moving target. You'll spend more time trying to line up your sights and "aiming" at the target instead of naturally "pointing" your muzzle at the target. But like Jon said, make sure your front bead sights true!
