2 3/4" Hevi shells to be discontinued?

Postby Big10Inch » February 17th, 2011, 6:43 am

Another forum reported that Hevi shot shells in 2 3/4" length will quietly be discontinued due to low sales figures. Does anyone know this to be a fact? I have a Browning A5 chambered in 2 3/4" that I like to use.

That doesn't suprise me any. It's hard to find 2-3/4" trukey loads of any make anymore. A lot of places don't carry them, every thing has gone to 3"-3-1/2" shells these days.

I can borrow my gal's 870 chambered for 3", so I'm not completely hooped. I can also try other shells and chokes with my A5, but I find that Hevi works the best . I have never tried any Winchester shells of any type, lead or tungsten.

Possibly more shooting research this spring....
