Federal Hevi-13 thru my 835

Guys,

Just as a heads up I just ran a couple of Hevi-13 ( 12ga 3.5" 2/14 oz #5's) thru my 835 tactical 24" with comp-n-choke xxx full and didn't have good results. I did shoot winchester supreme 3.5" #6's 2oz thru it and wow! 180 pellets at 40 yards! The #5's had similar results but not as good.

Clark, I did buy the federal premium 20ga (3" 1 5/16oz #5's) for the boys super bantam (undertaker) and will shoot that tomorrow.

You'll get better results out of your 835 if you shoot 3" shells. 3-1/2" don't pattern for beans out of those short barreled guns. You'll get a much tighter pattern out of the 3" than you will with the 3-1/2".
