Shotgun Pattern Board

Postby DeanoZ » February 28th, 2011, 11:17 am

Hey all wanted to post some pics of a pattern board I put together out of PVC.  Christened it this weekend when I went to pattern 4 different loads, with three different chokes at 20 and 40 yards.  My shoulder is sore as all get up but the pattern board made it go a lot quicker.  I'll post my results under a different thread, was interesting to say the least.

That looks very good and like it will certainly do the job nicely.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks Clark...it did and now I just need to make 2 modifications to it 1.  Figure out a way to keep the spool from moving and rolling out more paper when the wind blows on the target and 2. Mount a serrated edge or something across the top that will allow me to rip the paper off quickly and easily when I need to feed another sheet.

I'll be posting my results shortly...interested to get everyone's opinion as I was patterning at 20 and 35 yards with 3 different chokes and 4 different loads...suffice it to say my shoulder is sore [8|]
