Winchester Supreme Question

Postby wayne904 » March 9th, 2011, 6:35 am

I was given a box of Winchester 3 1/2" Supreme Turkey Loads. The winchester website doesn't say what type of metal the shot is. Can anyone tell me so i don't have to cut one open. STH12355 is the box number. Thanks

Those should be lead shot loads. The Supreme Elite Xrended Range Hi-Density shells have tungsten-based shot.

Thanks,

That is a Pb (lead) load, and it's safe to shoot in any 12ga 3½" chamber shotgun.
