Florida next weekend.
Here for all of April .. no birds around me yet :o Headed to another place I can hunt, to scout this weekend ;)
Chadron, NE .. the 1st or 2nd week of May
Then in May again, "maybe " Michigan, if the winter kill isn't bad where I hunt??
Ever wonder where the white goes when the snow melts????

Hey Guys,

Up here in Ontario Canada only, allowed 2 birds and have been lucky enough to tag out most springs. ;) Fall different story. Have several farms to hunt in the Kingston/Gananoque area and birds consistently on them all. Hoping to take the boy with me again this year. May be hard to match last years success with him but sure going to try. Biggest bird yet has been 22 lbs. Would rather get one with limb hanger spurs, never gotten one with impressive hooks.

Good luck to all,

TurkeyJohn
Hobby.....Is there anything other than turkey hunting??

Hunts for this year:

SE MN 3rd season

WI unit 4: 4th, 5th, 6th seasons

Maybe WI unit 1 3rd season and SD black hills instead of one of the unit 4 seasons.

Well after the leftover WI tags have sorted themselves out it looks like I will be starting my season out in the Black Hills for opener April 12, less than 3 weeks away! My turkey fever went from 0 last week to full blown stage 5 infection this week

Yeah I know about the WI tags, I goofed up and didn't get a second zone 2 tag, got busy in the shop yesterday and didn't get a chance to get over to the license store and get one, I checked it last night and there where 2,648 tags left and by the time I got there this morning they were gone :x . So I'll just have a zone 1 tag for the last season, it's still 5 tags, so I'm not worried, should be able to find one good bird out of this season, still lots of zone 3 tags left if I need another one.
