I wouldnt fret Commander..He's cLearly a psycHopath..Mouth calls can be built specifically for purring...I like to make a thin reeded 2 reed call for beginners to learn to purr on..Once that step is overcome then a "standard" call will seem easy....Although you will find that certain calls will perform better...Even my 8 yr old can purr on a standard 3 reed call...

Kinda like gargling...I don't really know how to explain it...try it without the call until you can get the idea...

steve/morgan,when yall are doin' the purr from the throat, is the tongue fluttering at all or does it all come strictly from the throat?
