With a friction call, I use a soft hand and slight pressure while dragging the striker across the surface.
 
With a diaphram, I eak out a soft whine while fluttering my lips like Mr. Ed.
 
With my voice, I whine slightly while "gurgling" in the back of my throght. (This is the most realistic sound for me, but it is very quiet.)

heres a real hen purring not every one can roll there throat for a purr ...you can also use your lips to purr.....Hen Purring

Best if done in the throat...thats how real turkeys do it anyways...so why wouldnt you?..My Havoc call purrs effortlessly after a short break in period of a day or so..

steve just explaining another way to purr on a mouth call.....[:@]sounds like all your doing is peddling your calls why not try contributing something? if not hit the road back to your board tk....

I would but some guy cluttered it up with a bunch of mutts....I had to call in the eXterminater...One thing about me peddling and you doing it Ron...My stuff actually works.....

way to cOntribute stevepa (turkey  killer from the darkside message board)....more peddling......qoute stevepa "I have some new "models" out this year that are sounding really good...Im looking forward to getting them out to some good turkey hunters...that will be the real test by far"...
