Fantomb calls

Postby whippinpost » February 21st, 2009, 7:24 am

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with the Fantomb Long box
and the fantomb glass?

Recomendations for custom long box under 70 dollars?

I have one of Davids shortboxs from about 3 years ago and a slate trough 2 years old, they are both very good. I played some of his pots and they were good too. Sorry, I don`t remember a longbox.

Hello and welcome whippinpost. I know little about Fantomb calls other then a friend of mine loves a slate call he got from there. Also you may be hard pressed to find a custom longbox for less then $75.

Hey Wippinpost

Welcome recently I spent some time with David White and ran some of his calls but I don't think he makes long boxes.
A friend just purchased a short box from him and it is all turkey, I ran some of his glass and slates and they were nice calls.
Hope that helps.

Hey whippinpost,

I just picked up a butternut/walnut long box today from Peck Martin, Martin Bros. Calls at the convention for $40. Really nice "working" call.

I have one of his trough slate calls.  It's my favorite friction call.
