Just finished up making 3 new ones with different types of things.
The first one was Alum. over slate sounds higher in pitch but should work in windy conditions.
The second a slate over glass and sounds good.
The third is copper over slate and is my favorite so far.

I have trouble posting pictures on this here site (I can only imagine how long it will take to re-learn posting pix this Spring)  & wouldn't know where to start with recording sound.

Slate call !!!! The only one...Made by Cane Creek Calls company out of Jenkins kentucky..Cane creek
