The Lovett Williams tapes and CDs are excellent for learning and practicing the various calls.
Why be good when you can B-Mobile or Spin & Strut.

last evenin' i was reading through this topic and when i got to the sound file that ''silvestris '' recommended i clicked on it . before i go any farther with this tale , let me remind you all that i ain't the best turkey hunter in these parts ,,,BUT!,,, i am a far cry better at foolin' ol' tom than i am at learnin' the proper manipulation of the computer.
back to the story,,,i actually didn't hear the sound file . my set up is old and slow and i'm too impatient with the da'gum thing. so i just returned to the forum and read some posts for maybe 6 - 8 minutes ,,,,,then this hen starts yelping at me from the little speaker . so i just sat there listening to this sweet talk for a while and then disconnected. 'bout 20 minutes later Mrs.Hay went to check her emails from her boss and this hen was still going at it. AND LIKE A GOOD MANY GOOD WIVES,, SHE DON'T APPRECIATE TURKEY TALK.
we did her to stop yelping,,,,,but i ain't got a clue as to how we did it .
was that you doing the callin' silvestris ?

Very nice William, impressive.

The tube has a slightly different sound than most other callers, I can see where it would be effective.

Thanks for sharing.
