soft or aggressive?

I know that each bird is different and you have to "take their temp" to see what kind of calling works
for them but what style of calling do you usually start with or use the most? I usually start with soft
calling such as tree yelps and then purrs and clucks with some soft yelps. To me they just seem to
come in less nervous when they hear soft calling compared to cuttin and excited yelping. Don't get
me wrong I have had birds come in fired up as can be to aggressive cutts and yelps but I like to
use soft calling most of the time.

For the most part I am overly aggressive LOL I got burned a couple times calling for folks the first week as I made the bird gobble too many times on the way in and he gobbled up hens.. But heck it works so good when done properly I cannot complain.

I'm with icded, I start off aggressive then tone it down once I have him fired up, then just crank him in with some soft putts n purrs. [:D]
