Box call recommendation

Postby gooseberry » May 5th, 2010, 2:15 pm

I realize this is an open question so I'll narrow it down to money.
Can you buy a good box call for $20? What kind do you favor? Don't know box calls or prices.

well, if u spend around another $10 you can get a Lynch. They make agood call but u wont get a unique sound like a custom call.

The only good box call I've ever bought for around $20 would have to be the Primos box cutter. I like the tone to it and its a really quailty call for the money.

I agree.  The Primos Box Cutter is a really nice box call.

I have a Quaker Boy mini boat paddle and a Q.B. field grade boat paddle that I like. For mass produced calls, they both sound really good.  The Quaker Boy folks quit making them a few years ago, but if you can find one, they're worth having.  The field grade is kind of bulky to carry around much, but it rules on windy days.
