Conditioning Glass

Postby shad309 » June 14th, 2010, 11:30 am

I'm a first time glass owner & user so-
I have searched the forum completely & the internet. Nowhere can I find examples of correctly conditioned glass looks like. I don't want to over do it or be squeaky.......
If anyone can describe what I'm to look for or post pictures would be great! I have a conditioning stone and the call sounds good but I want to make sure it's done right.
Thanks in advance!

Your glass will have a whited frosted look to it when it is conditioned and ready to play.  I got myself a primos slick stick and works good.  Scoot

Condition the glass untill it looks frosty white and then condition it again! Don't worry so much what it looks like but what it sounds like. If your striker starts sliding across the glass after a short time of running it then you need to keep conditioning. Remember allways condition the glass in one direction.
