Has anyone used this call with any sucess? I always hear jakes going at it so I'm thinking this might be one more tool in the aresenal! LOL

I've tried several "fighting purr" calls over the years without success. They may well work but I've just not had success with them.

Most every call has it's purpose under the right circumstances. If you have large numbers of birds in your area where fights may occure often then it may work very well for you?

I have the K&H version 1.0 of this call I bought some time ago, consisting of two push pin boxes. I figured out pretty quick that I could do the same thing with a diaphram and a slate at the same time and not take up so much space in my vest. Never had any full grown gobblers come to it, though I have had a few jakes and even more hens come looking. I pretty much stopped using that call except as a last ditch effort when nothing else has worked.

I heard this call at the convention last year and it sounded suprisingly realistic.. But I cannot see carrying a call with only one use.
