Hens fighting video

I saw this on the NWTF site and thought some would like to see it on this site. Kudos to Duke0002 for finding it.

The video is from a trail-cam and doesn't follow all the action but you can still figure out whats going on.

I have heard hens fight once and they never got quite as aggressive with their purrs as these two did. Since then I have done what I call "soft fighting purrs". I purr like the hens did in the vid before they got louder. I do this on a Kenny Morgan Frictionwood caller. I have called 2 toms away from hens using that call.

I heard some birds yesterday afternoon purring loud like that. I was about 50 yds away and man was they getting into. By the sound of some of the hits I was like ouch that hurt me. Then this mourning I counted 75 hens and poults fly down into a field and as soon as all them landed about half of them started purring loud but only a couple of birds got into fight.
