Squealing hen

The commercials have started already. Anyone used one of these to any success other than for predators?

Does it actually sound like it does on tv. If so the only time I heard a turkey make that sound is when it was wounded and I chasing after it. That bird refused to die but she sure tasted good.

I have one. It sounds like it does, but Eddie Salter can make anything sound good. Got it too late in the season to put it to the test. It was mid-May and the birds weren't responding to anything.
