issues with getting mouth calls to fit in my mouth

Hi I am new to the sport and want to get some mouth calls so I bought some but I can not get them to the roof of my mouth (I say there is ¾” inch of space between my call and roof of my mouth) guess my jaw is too small. So what options do I have for mouth calls?

2 things you can do, you can trim the tape down some, just cut small amounts off at a time so you don't take off too much. They are made to do that cause everyone's mouths are not the same size. The other thing is to make sure you buy youth or small frame calls. They are made for people with smaller palates. You may have to try a couple brands and find which one fits your mouth the best. I know HS and Quaker Boy and I believe Primos make the small frame calls. If they are too big you can trim those down too.

A youth call would be a good option, youth call designs have come along ways in the last few years....
