Could be used to call Yotes.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Does beating your dog make you feel better about being a poor trainer?

Usually I am very supportive of any method a hunter chooses to use as long as fair chase standards are not violated. In my humble opinion; Prerecorded calling violates fair chase principles no matter the species.  For varmints we make exceptions it is more important to control their numbers but that is a different discussion.

Unfortunately there are hunters who take shortcuts and even though illegal, enforcement is near impossible.

If you agree with me call it fact; if you disagree - call it my opinion.
After all - we are talking turkey.

Illegal in NH. I wouldn't use them even if they were legal. Mastering a call, and fooling a tom with your calling IS turkey hunting.
It doesn't take any skill to push a button.

Not my way but, they are legal in Maine. My brother has a friend who swears by the thing. He drives down paper company wood roads and plays the thing. He kills birds, but Maine birds seem real easy to call to the gun. Their bird populations are growing and they haven't herd a lot of calling  YET. Give them a couple of years and that call will be in the basement collecting dust, like many other has beens.
