1st one down

Postby ticklishtompro » April 27th, 2013, 8:52 pm

Got my first bird of the season this morning. It was also my first kill on video. Not the best video, but I couldn't move the camera cause I was holding the gun. The gobbler was 22lbs., 10 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs. Not my biggest, but a good hunt. Had 3 other gobblers in the group but they stayed out at about 50 yards. We couldn't pull off the double.

Here is the link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfy0zyaU ... tube_gdata

Going out again in the morning to try to fill my nephews tag and call and video for him. We killed 3 birds today by 9am, so hopefully fill the last tag in the morning.

This bird has an interesting fan, never seen one like it with the stripe inside the lighter tips.
