Sugar Maple

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » April 3rd, 2011, 10:02 am

I just cut this one this morning, sanded it smooth, raised the grain , then sanded again. I added a coffee stain to it to bring out the curl. This piece has some great color in it, black, brown, orange, yellow. There is no finish on it at all, I'm going to put a hand rubbed oil finish on this pot to bring even more color out and darken the grain more in it. I'll take some more pics of it when it's done.
Thanks for looking, Scott
