Maple for a friend

Here is a worm eaten old growth maple pot with some slight curl I made for a friend of mine who is a huge UK fan. It's crystal over cherry and I gave it to him as a birthday present and also for taking me on a few duck hunts this year. He said he was going to use it as a decoration on his mantle because he was afraid to take it out into the woods with him :lol: but that's a shame because the pot really does have a nice hen built in it. Pictured with the pot is a one piece maple striker. The pictures don't do it justice, the grain on this thing is unbelievable when you get out in the sunlight! Thanks for looking!

You did a great job on the call it does have a nice grain in that wood congrats. to you and the new owner.
