Cherry Burl/ ceramic now with proof!!

Postby moyehow » April 21st, 2011, 10:39 am

finally got a piece of cherry burl from a local guy. I have been trying for over 3 years to buy a piece from him. He finally sold me a small piece. Made a ceramic call. Sounds and looks awesome.

Nice looking call. Are the decorations put in with a tool similar to a Knurling on a metal lathe?

Very nice! I am a cherry burl fanatic. It is the only wood species that i will not make a call out of and sell. I save it for trades and for gifts only. Your call looks great.
