First calls

Postby ky_gobbler12 » May 3rd, 2011, 11:01 am

Hey guys. Here are my first two calls that I have made after trying different things to get them the way I want them. They are both made of cherry and are slate over glass and glass over slate. I am planning on making an aluminum and crystal next. What sound boards are you all using with those two? I am in no way a professional and this is just something I enjoy doing. Thanks for looking.

You're off to a good start Daniel! I too am a beginner and have already found it to be utterly addictive and stress relieving. I can go down to the shop and look at my watch 2 hours later and have no idea where the time went. I absolutely love turning pots and one thing is for sure, I learn at least 1 new thing every time I turn a call. Look forward to seeing your crystal and aluminum pots!

Wow really? A Redhound? lol sucks to be you man, Just kidding, i guess you could expect that kind of response coming from a panther! but seriously, you found the perfect place to show off your calls and shoot the breeze about turkeys and turkey hunting.
