I wish I still could, but I can't run a lathe anymore. The vibration of the tools cause my hands to numb and I loose all feeling in my hands for about 6-8 hours. I've even tried it on dowels but the same thing happens. I've even tried wrapping the tools in pipe insulation to help kill the vibration some but that didn't work either. So I guess I'm stuck with a 2 piece striker, I'd much rather have a one piece for better looks, but the 2 piece ones sound just as good.
