I was riding down the road this afternoon and the guy up the way, who runs a Pecan grove, was doing some land scape trimming on his property and discarding the waste on the side of the road for county pick-up. Well, I couldn't resist these pieces of Crepe Myrtle. Now my biggest problem is to decide how to cut them to the best advantage to get slabs with good grain figure, so, I guess it's "you pay your nickle and make your choice" time.
Thanks for taking a look.
